dude, disconnect the battery for a min, then re-connect it and start the engine.
did you re-install the MAF sensor in the intake?

off topic, but you guys have a SICK hemi.,....

Back on topic, curious how an engine can get "too much air"..
my aem is true cold air, and has k&n filter same as the k&N cold air, and i have never had a problem.
i put one in a friends box, got a CEL, pulled battery cable, had a smoke, re-connected battery, then let the engine run while i had another smoke...
by the time i was done, box was purring, and CEL was gone..
I know lots of people with 06's were looking for special intakes but i dunno if it was due to clearance issues in the engine bay, or if it was an issue because of CEL..
engine is the same, but the ECU did change in 06.. i have an 06, but i didn't put an intake on it, cuz the wife drives it.
on my 04, i have the AEM CAI and as i said no issue at all.

off topic.. Thanks.. but you have to admit.. this town sucks.

Back on topic. . well the weird thing is, that my CEL actually goes away on its own.. when it comes on my car drives alot better (performance wise) but my MPG goes down.. when my CEL is off, better mpg but worse performance.. only reason i still have it on my car.

Try a new type of air filter. Amsoil sells cleanable air filters that are expensive, but generally help engines run at their potential.

Haven't put it in the classifieds yet but I am selling my TRD CAI used. Never had a CEL issue with it. I did have some engine issues recently and the dealer of course blamed it on the intake though. The whole argument and arbitration process has left me so ____ed I've given up on modding for a while.

I have a 2006.5, the K&N Typhoon intake and no problems ever. Almost had it on there a year.

Yeah, i read your post on what happened, you got screwed big time! that kinda $hit jacks my a$$! Is the few thousand they saved by not covering your engine really worth all the bad word of mouth they are getting? Anyway, good luck.
