Is it a safe alternative to N02? Any real power gains or possible drawbacks?

 

All it's for is cooling the air , fuel , and intercoolers. it does not go into your motor , it is to cool down hot components resulting in more power ( to a certain extent )

 

My friend runs this on his WRX sti putting out 425hp. All this is used for is cooling. He uses his factory water spray that use to be on his top mount intercooler and rerouted it to his front mount. If you spray them at the same time it will ice up his intercooler.

I'll have to let my brother know about this. It's useless for weak cars like the scions but his 03 cobra might make some use of this. 550 at the wheels at last dyno.

 

Cold air will make more power than warm, I would think it may be good for 5-10 Hp on an xB..if you are going to go to the work of installing that system I would just add NOS! That is my 2 cents
