Default Differential Drain Plug on automatic transmission..

I have a 2005 Scion xB stock with automatic transmission it has 118K miles.. I recently changed the tranny fluid, and noticed that there
is a what looks like a drain plug located horizontally on the bottom of the differential part of the trans, behind the trans pan.

Is this to drain the differential also? how would I refill the differential if I did drain it? Also what type of oil does it take?
I can find no info on this in the manual.

Any info would be appreciated.

my manual says Fluid type: Toyota Genuine ATF TYPE T-IV Standard capacity: 2.9 liters (3.1 US qts, 2.6 Imp. qts)

I couldn't find anything about another drain for the differential. I know the 5spd doesn't have it.

Thanks, I did some digging around, and it appears the differential shares the same oil from the tranny.

Bingo...it's actually referred to by Toyota as an "automatic transaxle" since it combines both functions into the same unit.
