Default Ebay Headers?

What do you guys think of headers like this? They are going on ebay for around the 40 dollar range and I was wondering if they even change performance at all? Has anyone had experience with them?

There are some different ones as well, I was just using this one as an example.

CRAP! search ebay for a Megan header, it is a better quality. The welds on that cheapy header are really poor quality.

Yeah, I figured. I just thought I would check on it.

I've got a cheapy header - well - it was 60 bucks plus shipping and the quality was actually pretty nice for the price. Keep asking around and see what brands work the best. I've been running my header since last June with no problems. The header, air intake, and cat back exhaust add some fun for sure. Not a huge power increase but better than stock for sure.

Deansblackbox says he has a cheapy ebay header so maybe some are OK. As far as DC they are supposed to be a very good header, I would stick with the Megan on eBay.

I had a Toyota Echo 2001 with one of these headers, cost me around $90. And now I have a Scion xB, same engine compatibility performance products, but, I decided not use this cheap header and go with a quality header, DC Sports. The quality and performance is very different, You obtain what you paid for…

The dyno does not lie. As long as the header is not robbing your engine of power, shouldnt be much better than stock. I really dont think it would matter that much. I mean, with AEM intake and DC exhaust, a 1 HP gain and 0.2 TQ gain with the header. . . you are not going to feel anything different. Sound, yes, but it will just be the placebo effect if anything.
