Default Engine Misfire, tranny still grinds Southern Cali dealer!!!

Well i have had my car back now for 4 days, trans is still grinding I have all 5 gears and such. now all lights lit up Cel and stuff engine is misfiring on # 1 cyl and I took it back to the dealer. They gave me ____ and are trying to say they wont cover anything now because I have an intake and exhaust. I told them they are idiots and that how does a intake or exhaust relate to the ignition system because my # 1 cyl has no spark. These dealer are retarded, and I am wondering if anyone has had a problem with thier coil packs? Plus the car has come to the since day 1 with intake and exhaust.

anyone in Southern Cali know of a good dealer to take it to, I know north hollywood is a good dealer but I live in Lancaster, but as long as they will fix the problems let me know, the Trans is gonna go any day now, and the engine has been knocking for 3 months now and they have continued to tell me nothing is wrong. Any imput or help would be greatly appreciated, but I am ready to trade the damn thing in now. It's a 06 xb!

Looks like a continuation of this thread, with a transmission problem added:

Did the transmission problem happen while the dealer was working on the engine?

I have had good luck at both Glendora Toyota/Scion and Crown Toyota/Scion in Ontario. I assume you have read the post that tells about what voids a warranty. They have to prove the mod caused the problem. Since Scion sells both exhaust and Intakes--that would be hard to do. Good Luck

I would try Longo, Crown, Tusin, or Glendora.

don't really know, the problem is caused by excessive valve lash clearance, the valves were out of adjustment and the valve that droped the seat had a huge adjustment prob, according to them at the dealer, but I told them a month before it needed a valve adjustment and they wouldn't do it. THere fault o well I am trading it in when I get it back, love the box but too many probs on so little mods, and mods have nothing to do with the probs, plus I miss power and the car has none, so I am going back to turboed cars, Suby!
