Default Engine replacement question

Im going to get my new engine tomorrow, and I had a question, I was looking at the manual, and It looks like the engine comes out from the bottom, Is that right? I hope it doesnt lol.

where are you getting your engine from? is it a dealership or somewhere else? cause I want to get my hands on a new engine...how much did it set you back?

I got mine on eBay, it's Got 46k on it, it was 500$ plus 200 shipping, but luckily it is in the sam state, so I'm going to go pick it up tomorrow to save on shipping.

I bet it does come out and go in from the bottom. The top I would say doesnt have enough room. I really have no idea. But just from thinking about it and looking at an xB I would say it wouldnt fit from the top....but I hey like I said I really have no clue. GL with it though.

You can take it out through the top, it just takes some expert maneuvering... At the factory they put the in thru the bottom, which is easier and why the manual says to do it that way....

hmm, ok, i dunno how I will do this in my garage, lol, its going to be quite the adventure, whenever I have done motor swaps its always been thru the top lol.

last time a i did a motor swap on my 90 integra we took the engine out from the bottom.you get everything detached wires/cables etc lower the car on the floor take out the last set of bolts then raise the car slide the engine out slide the new one under ..

do everyone a favor and document it with picture. I'm going to do the same soon because I have to change out my clutch, new belts and I want to throw a new water pump while its out
