I'm thinking about getting the Espelir JGT500 axleback for my xB.

Has anyone had any problems or concerns with this system?

 

So does anyone have the Espelir that is willing to comment on my questions?

 

I have the espiler and it hooks up fine and doesn't have any problems with hanging to the right or left like some of the other exhausts I have read people had installed. The tip of the exhaust definetly fills up the gap in the back and with the silencer in the sound is bareable. But without the silencer the car screams like a banshee and sometimes drowns out the radio but if you like the sound of a loiud exhaust this is perfect. Hope that helps.

I have this exhaust as well and its loud and sounds great, no other issues to write home about. If you want loud and great sound this is the one, fitment is good.

 

Well, I actually just ordered this exhaust system this week, so thanks for everyone's opinion.

 

ive got one too. only problems i have is now i dont worry about scraping my bumper against parking blocks when backing in . . my exhaust lets me know first. "thud"

 

Just put the exhaust on tonight. Fit is excellent.

The sound is great. It's mellower than I expected. I'd driven a 1998 Honda Prelude with the JGT500 exhaust and it was VERY loud. Granted, mine hasn't burned off any insulation yet, but it sounds very velvety and deep. I like!

It gets alot louder as time passes, starts to drone pretty bad at 3k rpm, but I love the sound

 

Yeah, I do notice a bit of droning now that I've driven it a couple of days. Oh well — that's why it came with a silencer, right?
