Default F5 Fujita SRI on 06 xB - My Shpeal

So, I just finished installing the Fujita SRI on my 06 xB. Took me way longer than it should have.... i left the directions at work, so that didnt help either.

Prior to installing it, I really wasnt aware of the differences in the prior model xB's versus the 06's. Nothing MAJOR, but a couple things that made me really aggrivated.

First, the VSV plug or whatever, is screwed in instead of snapped, which i found out after a while just thinking, "WTH".... Basically i had to flip the top of the air box upside down and get to the screw from there.

Next was the MAF sensor.... that thing was a HUGE stretch. I had to pull some excess wire out of the tube thing or whatever its called. I then had to stretch out this tab that was holding that big tube thing. In the end, I finally got the MAF wires connected... but they still seem like a stretch.

Last, those damn clamps that come with the Fujita are a HUGE pain. Luckily i had a 12mm deep socket layin around or else it wouldnt have been possible. Even though, it just took forever for them to finally clamp tight.

BUT, im overall very satisfied. Im getting an extra filter for free because of this promotion theyre doing... so that makes it even better. Ill post pics tomorrow night and give a butt dyno analysis.

When i put mine on the M.A.S. wire was a pretty good stretch also, but it fit on without taking more wire out of the loom.

I got my "extra" filter in less than two weeks from when i sent in the paperwork, pretty fast work.

nice pics by the way.

great intake i am sure you will love it, I love mine.
