I hope this is the right place to post this. My remote start is acting funky. I'll start it and after 15 seconds the engine will turn off, then it'll try and start again, then turn off and repeat a few times. Anyone know why it wont stay started, does it need to be reset or is there a fault in the product? Does anyone know how to reset if it needs a reset? I cant find my manual.

 

I honestly have never heard of a factory remote start, only alarms.. Do you know who makes it? If it were an aftermarket R.S., I would say that the tach needs to be learned. The xB does not have immobilizer(chip in the key) so that is not the issue. Im guessing tach or possibly a weird power issue with R.S. after the car has started.
