At this point, I don't even know if their cold air intake even exists. I know they list it as a part number on their website, but I think that is the extent of it. I have never seen a picture of it, seen a dyno, heard of anyone who has it, or even anyone who sells it.

If I had to hazard a guess, they are probably in the planning/watch and see stages right now. They probably want to see how the short ram sells to xB owners before they commit to developing a cold air option. My guess is that if they do develop one it will be very similar to the short ram with an additional 90 degree bend at the end to place the filter lower and pointed down. Just like most of the others on the market. Who knows, they may never release one if they don't see a significant enough difference between the existing short ram and the new cold air.

I just put the short ram on tonight, took less than an hour.

At idle is sounds just about the same as stock and when you step on the gas you can hear the difference, but i don't think that is really loud, Keep in mind i am 40 years young.

http://www.ptuning.com has also dropped their price to only $144.95. I would personally rather deal with them than some random ebay seller, but that is just me.

Looks like that CAI might be available pretty soon after all. Maybe that is contributing to the new lower price.

Wow, that is good. With shipping?

I ordered a Hydroshield from them because they had it the cheapest. It's a prefilter from INjen so I just took a size comparable with my KN and ordered it. Fits like a glove.
30 bucks complete.

"2.50”, 2.75”, 3.00” and 3.50” opening bases. The filters dimensions are 4.625” top, 6.00” base, and 6.75” in length" cut and paste from f5air.com. I think for SRI the opening base is 2.75

I installed the Fujita F5 short ram intake on my xB 6 months ago. Installation was easy and a small performance gain was noticed.
