Sounds good... Probably some of the best parts you could have bought.

Make sure you reset the ECU and let it idle after the install. And let us know
How it sounds/performs.

Peace

the bypass valve type aem intake can only be bought through the dealer . the aftermarket style is the "L" pipe

I just bought the same setup and I am new to working on cars. What do you mean by ECU?

do you need to reset it after the exhaust or only after the cai install?

When I do intake installs, I don't reset the ECU or unplug the battery. I just let it idle for 15 minutes. Yes, some say 15 minutes it too long, but that's how long it usually takes my to clean the tools and put them back. It works for me, and I have yet to throw a CEL.

Ħsquirrel es loco! lol, j/k. When I installed my intake, I threw a CEL right when I started my car. I pulled the EFI fuse and left it out for 15 seconds to reset the ECU. link to tech article.

I swear squirrel is hiding some CELs somewhere...

I love you, squirrel.

Nope, I've done over a dozen installs on 'rollas, Matrix and Scions, no CEL. Just lucky I guess since I'm not an expert.

BangorXB, that exhaust system must be installed and driving around already. You haven't posted in a bit. :D
