Default Greddy EVO2 for xB

I just recently purchased one (well it's not here yet) and I am quite curious on how it stacks up against the rest of the popular exhausts (DC, Strup, Magnaflow). I used search and haven't been able to find alot of information on here, and when I searched Google only applications of other cars came up.

I am just wondering if anyone have one and could give a little feedback.

Thank you .

I dont have one but Ive seem them installed on a couple of xBs and it sound good but the tip diameter is too big for my taste. I personally like the Blitz but the Greddy unit is louder but not annoying....good overall

The gredddy Evo2 is probably your average exhaust in terms of loudness, although dont get me wrong i know it has a signature deep tone. Greddy is also great in finish and quality. I think for our toasters, looks (quality) and sound quality is more important than even performance or power gain results. even tho u might get a itsy bitsy fruit punch boost, its merely anything to be useful. So if you want to stack up against other exhaust systems, you should look at build quality and the resulting look and sound you get from the exhaust in your bread toaster. I have a espelir jgt500 axle-back, its a beautiful piece of work just like the Greddy, but its one of the loudest exhausts for the Lunchbox, which I prefer. and though its a few more green-paper for the japanese made espelir. So for most part, all name brands axle-backs are good pieces, in the end it all comes to your own taste and preference, meaning the look of the exhaust, and the sound of it..which is hard to know until you actually hear it in person

It is not that loud at all. At first, it will sound like stock unless you get on it.

Check the reviews section on this website.

how much did you pick it up for? im thinking of getting one and chopping it and making a whole custom header back with the evo2 can i dont think theyve made a axleback for the xa yet have they? if they have then no need to chop just run from the header to the flange.... i love the offset tip so no worrys about when i drop the egg

Ya I have the evo2, and love it. At first it sounded fairly stock like the TRD,
especially at Idle. It give a small growel with excelleration. I then added
an Injen short ram and it sounds much better, like a small sports car. Its
not to loud, but loud enough so you know its there. With the intake added
you are able to feel a slight performance gain. The only other one I think
compares in sound is the GT 500.

Good choice

Got it for just over $300 at Intense Motorsports. Suppose to be here in the next couple days.

That's good to hear because I picked up an Injen short ram along with it as well.

it got maybe a little louder but the sound is much deeper, with the header once it was all broke in. the k@N intake sounds awesome even at ideal you can hear it sucking in the air, it sounds mean, ive had loud exhausts before and the combination sounds very tuned i guess you could call it, not to loud but loud enough to know its there
