Gude News!
Well, tried to get it together today, and ran into a little problem. They decked the head too much and the pistons are hitting the head. So I have to send the head back and get the clearance issue resolved. Not a big deal, he's never done one before and didn't have anything to look at as far as clearance issues. The issue is so close that everything worked fine until we torqued the head bolts to the recommended torque. When they were were just snugged up using a normal ratchet we didn't have a problem. Bill now has a whole 1NZ in the shop so he is going to use that for reference to fix mine, so next time we should be good. Everything else looked great. He port matched and cleaned up all the aluminum manifold parts that came with the supercharger,

that TB will make a nice difference in itself, i had a TMTuning TB on my vw jetta back in the day and it made a huge difference. their headwork looks quite nice as well

Got it on yesterday and running. Haven't been to the dyno yet. Probably Friday. Cams sound cool.
But there is a strange noise, can't tell if something is hitting or just a dry oil pump. So we are going to put a camera in the cylinders tomorrow to make sure there are no more clearance issues. If a piston was hitting a valve, the valve would have bent, would not seat right, and the engine would run like crap. But it runs really good, so I don't think this is the issue. Probably me just being paranoid, but better be safe that sorry.

Didn't cost me anything. Sponsorship. But a mild setup starts at $1300 and a wild setup, which I got, goes to a little over $1700.
Put the camera in the cylinders yesterday and found no problems with clearance. I thing the noise is just the valves opening further and being slammed shut harder by the bigger springs. So we are going to run with it the way it is. Only problem is last night the oil pump seal started leaking so I had to order a new one, but it won't be here until Thursday. But should be on the Dyno Friday. WIll let you guys know what I find out.

Got it 100% back together. Drove it last night for a bit. Will try to run it to the dyno today. Have to see if they have a slot open. Seat of the pants guage says on the high end, it is pretty close but just short of the supercharger. Low end, not much change over stock coming up from around 2000 rpm, but pretty nice if launched from first gear. But it wll be lacking a little becuase it was set up for a supercharger. Guys going straight NA will actually see a little better gains than I am right now.
One thing, under load and trying to pull in 2nd gear from around 2000 rpm, the intake is VERY loud. Sounds like a bear growling from under the hood. The engine is definatetly breathing better. And it is louder than my exhaust. Wierd thing, my exhaust didn't get any louder.
