ive got about 1500 miles on my new 5 speed xb. and its kinda hard to get into gear the last 500 miles or soo? is this normal?

I have the same problem. these tranny's suck.

 

its all the gears im proble gona take it to the dealer and see what they say.

 

Mileage may vary. For me, it's one of the nicest transmissions I have ever felt. Smooth, soft, gentle.

When I first got my Xb I had trouble getting into first gear, but now I have no trouble and the car shifts very smooth. I am also very easy on the tranny.

 

Good to know. The one I bought and two others I test drove seemed to not want to go into 1st after I sat idling in neutral at a light. Other manual trans I've had in the past had similar problems- more so when warmed up and in hot weather. It always got better after they were broken in, I assumed the same of the xB.

 

same problem here ..1st gear is like wtf at the light ...please dont honk im trying lol..
