im getting mine this wednesday and i wanted to throw it on myself. is it easy or hard?

 

no it was pretty simple. I recommend buying a new exhaust gasket since it doesnt come with one. Should take 30 minutes tops...comes with directions as well...

 

Very simple, the hardest part is getting the stock exhaust off the hangers. That requires some good lube and something to pry them off with.

Those are about the only thing thats gonna give you trouble. The strup is actually pretty straight forward to install, I installed 05 camo xb's and it was on in no time. :D

i did mine like a retard, i figured, hey, i can get it off without any lubricant for the hangers, and then i'm sitting there for half an hour trying to do it, feeling like an ___. I finally got the thing off with the lubricant and it took no time

what do you mean gasket, when i took the original exhaust off, i didn't see any gasket, i don't think, what's it look like and where does it go??

 

when you put it on did you notice the circular thing connecting the stock can and the resonator pipe? Thats the gasket...mine pretty much fell apart but I was prepared luckily.

 

umm...is anyone elses strup REALLY close to the passenger side cut of the rear lip? just makin sure. its not touching it, but its really close

 

Mine isn't, check to make sure you have it seated in the runner hangers all the way.

 

is yours centered or angled?

 

It's angled a bit but it is centered in the hole.
