um megan is the best cheap header. you can try the dc-s or the one that is like top stainless or some brand like that.

i've seen them in person and they look pretty crappy. the megan,dc,strup have better welds and smoother bends and the collector seems better made.

Default Dc-s

Installed the dc-s friday afternoon, then had a 900+ mile weekend.
Verdict: I Love It. Its definately an uper band increase, but damn.
I have an 04 5spd and the trip back from Atlanta to Jacksonville Fl, I never came out of 5th, even to pass.
Made the 400+ one way trip in 5 hrs honestly, no joke.
I averaged 80 mph and the box never felt like it cared. done the trip before without the header, and definately felt the difference. before it was tought to keep her at 75-80 now she doesnt sweat 95, when you punch it at 80 takes maybe 5 or 6 seconds to get to 95, I also think I noticed a mpg increase (380miles from one tank fill up to refill light), but it may be that I had a good back wind or kept the windows up. May have even been the speed, I dont normally do 80-95mph so I cant say for sure.

Only word of warning!

The dc-s is NOT a direct bolt up!

The two lower bolt holes at the collector are not tapped, the origional bolts will not work, you need two new bolts a set of washers and a set of new nuts, reuse the stock springs tho. Wasnt bad I had stuff on hand.

Wont guess at Hp increase, Can only report that I am happy with it.
