is this header good?
so a lot of you guys are saying "get the ebay header" is this the one you guys are speaking of? or if not can i get a link to the header that is good?

The heat shield isn't really necessary.
On a 5-speed, people have occasionally had issues with the shifter cable melting, but I think that's a rare occurrence.
If you're really worried about it, you can stick a piece of heat wrap along the header where the cables run.

i might have to get some wrap once i get these
hey buddy, I was where you are about 3 years ago. I also bought an eBay header and it was a good product. It did its job, but it was ultimately swapped out for real power. Don't expect excellent welds nor build quality, but the header did last me 4 solo 1 events, so it can take the heat and about that beautiful chrome don't expect it to stay like that, it will look like $hit after 1 year, but wont rust.
FYI, I got mine shipped for less than $50, but that was 3 years ago...
