injen intake
spy springs..

can't comment on other performance parts because that's all I have experiences with and I am happy with it..

Wheels are pretty much up to you.

I say look for things not many other people are going for

Now I will say I recommend the Injen CAI....just because of the power output....which I am surprised it beat AEM

AEM is disappointing me with there setup for the Scion xB.....read nothing but problems with fitment

you will also not want to do performance mods right away. you will want to let your engine properly break in (approx1,000 miles).

it won't kill it, but it will help the engine last longer.

i didn't know that hotchkis made springs for the xb?....i recommend the goldlines if they are available where you live....I have the AEM intake and have had no probs with it. I also have the TRD exhaust and it sounds really nice...quiet for cruisin, but loud when u romp on it....about wheels, get atleast 18's....anything smaller will look funky without springs.

i'd recommend:
injen intake
hotchkiss sway bar
hid kit(NO MORE THAN 7000k)
tananbe springs(suspension if u got the cash)
rims are up to u..
if u're on a budget,..
i'd rock 5zigen FN01R-C(lots of colors and sizes for cheap)
and they look good
and exhuast would be up to u.. trd, apex, 5zigen, jic, blitz...

Default xB mods

Go for the Cusco Type II lower frame brace. It's well worth the wait for it to arrive from Japan. Between the Hotchkisss upper strut tie bar and this lower frame brace, they have noticeably improved the stiffness of my already stiff xB

also when you are looking at wheels make sure you figure out how much they weigh.. to me that is the most important part about wheels, even more than looks. On my civic which has comparable power to the xB, I had 17" wheels that weighed 22 lbs. it slowed the car down so much. then I switched over to 11 lb 15" wheels and it made a huge difference, more than even an intake adds..

just try to keep the weight of the wheels down or it will hurt performance/gas mileage
