Just throwing the numbers out for those that are interested in what the basic bolt ons are making to the wheels. There will be another run after the mid pipe is done and the crank pulley is installed..

those are some decent N/A numbers. So your running simple bolt-ons no computers right?? No tuning just simple bolt-ons.

I agree..
and I am still doing the crank pulley, flywheel, and mid pipe..
after all that maybe I should tune, but I heard there was no luck doing that in the past (on N/A xB's)..

camcon? AEM FI/C?..

BTW maybe bolt ons aint that stupid.. lol

The Injen SRI makes 9whp? I had it on my 2005 xB 5-spd and now on my 2004 auto, and didn't feel a difference at all.

How much louder is the car with all those bolt ons? I didn't realize you could get past 100whp on bolt ons on this car...

The injen 9 Hp number I got on here, somewhere.. theres a post were someone dyno'd like 4 intakes.. maybe it was 7hp, either way..
its loud.. in that video.. thats mostly my car making all that noise.. lol

I know a tuner mag only made 9Hp with an AEM CAI, header, and axle back.. cant remember which one (mag)

oh, and my bad.. found that post the injen only makes 4hp:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...t=dyno+intakes

I dont know whats up, but this is an accurate run on the car..

Either that dyno was being optimistic or bolt-on's actually do something for a 1.5L. When i started my car i had the Injen CAI, eBay header and a InVidia axle-back. There was a definite HP increase, but i wouldn't say 18 WHP. Then i did the complete exhaust, 2.25" w/ high flow cat and resonator, and a Camcon, and another slight increase. I still dont think it was more than 12 WHP.

I have a camcon but im getting rid of it because I installed an E-Manage Ultimate. If your interested in buying it let me know. I will check and see if the harness is good and i will let it go CHEAP! The AEM FI/C will be a much better computer, much more tunable, but will be more expensive. Just let me know.

That sounds about right. It makes a nice sound, though.

No doubt these are the numbers you got, I just want to know what it is that's making that much power.

if you believe that tuning will help me, then PM me a price on what you got, I have just heard that people have lost power with these N/A..

this is why I wanted to dyno the box.. I wasnt sure what I was making, but knew I was much faster than the day of purchase.. I honestly did't expect these numbers, but the place I went is a good shop with a trusted machine

import tuner just had a power pages with a manual, with intake, header and exhuast, and 105.ohp and 105.3 torque. their baseline dyno was 98.0 hp and 99.0 trq so it was an increase of 7 hp total and 6.3 trq total. im running same except i also have 2 1/4 piping after the cat, and the lightweight pully and im guessing around 108 whp. the larger piping really helped top end.

this one?
http://www.importtuner.com/powerpage..._xb/index.html
base line 82.XXHP never saw more than 92.XXTQ

I cant find any other....

I never heard of a baseline that high either before on a stock xB

import tuner april 08 got it right here in front of me. its an 04 xb same as mine. baseline 98hp 99tq at 65.6 degrees. the box has only a 10 percent drive loss, and they state they are very impressed ny this becuase the power is very uncharacteristic of an engine that small, " a testament to the advantages of variable valve and ignition timing its VVTi feature allows." trhey use a fujite cai, dme axle back, and dme header.

I wonder if it was high due to the 12 degree drop in temp. compared to my run..
I know it likes it cold!! lol

I just read a thing that says that only an extreme change in temp and elevation would
drastically affect numbers on a dyno.. I am sure there is
some difference, but not that many horses worth

It also says 3-5whp variance between machines can be expected.. I dunno.. I'm happy to break 100 either way, and
you know what my plans are anyway..

Dynajets run very optimistic as it is. Usually they are like 15-20% higher or something like that. And thats if the company doesnt spike their numbers. Running on a jet is liking running your car in space there is nothing holding against it.... like gravity. And after you spin the rollers so fast a jet just kinda goes from there. A mustang actually puts a load agianst the vehicle simulating a real world situation... like being on a road. Mustangs also take into consideration temp, humidity, weight of the vehicle. Your numbers are probably a little off. There isnt much there to speak of to begin with so they arent that far, but I would suggest comparing it to what you would make on a mustang. We have A LOT of people sorely disappointed when they find out what their real numbers are.
Just another fact: A dynajet curve is based on a 80's model Yamaha V-max.
