i got a used 5 zigen exhaust................
hey guys, give me your opinion. i a buddy of mine got a brand new tanabe exhaust and he gave his old 5 zigen fireball exhaust he had it on for like maybe 2 years or less. anyways it still looks nice but a little scratched and it need a polished. well i currently have the xb (automatic) and i currently have a carbon fiber blazed tip exhaust from x3racing.com its an exact replica of an HKS exhaust. it looks nice but it cost me like $80 dollars. so im sure it isnt giving me much HP. so my question is should i keep a much nicer looking exhaust on that probably isnt giving much HP or should i put a well known brand exhaust like 5 zigen evendough it looks a little banged up? (its only scratched from the bottom from going up steeped drive ways, but the tip looks okay and it needs a good polish) which i also have another question on, what kind of polish can i get and where. let me know your honest opinion guys. by the way i have 5 zigen rims so it would be a nice combination i think. thanks
just so you guys can see the exhuast i got now. here is a link to it:

as for the 5 zigen one, i couldnt get one. but i am sure you guys have seen the 5 zigen fireball exhaust before.

well the 5 zigen is a cat back but made for the previous owner RSX type-S. and i currently have 2'25 inch mandrel bended piping all the way back to the cat. with a high flow resornator. the stock one is so restricting. but i can always cut the 5 zigen off the piping and welded on to mine? what do you think?
In that case I would say hack that x3 muffler off and tack the 5Z up there. If you already have the custom piping and it's just a matter of spending a few dollars to get the 5Z mounted then go for it. It would keep some uniformity since you are running those wheels. This is just my opinion though. I am sure someone on here would disagree with me. I know I contradicted what I said in my first post but if it's only going to cost a few bucks then you can try it and see how you like it and change it back later of sell the x3 to pay for the price of the 5Z install.

And to answer your question about the catback: Yes.
