Default Installed: Fidanza Wheel, Spec 2 and AP line...

well i am finally getting around to installing my Spec Stage 2 that has been sitting in my garage for almost a year now. my clutch slips between shifts at WOT. i decided that while i was going through the trouble of installing it, i might as well throw a Fidanza Flywheel in there and upgrade to an AP Clutch Line. i will be installing it early next week, i can't wait, i am anxious to see what happens...

the clutch line should be here today, my battle buddy is driving up from nor cal next week to help with the install. so i am doing clutch, wheel, and line all in one day. i cannot wait to drive it. i will definitely post pics and keep everyone updated. providing the weather is nice after the breakin period, i plan on making a video as well... just need to find a usable webcam, or duct tape my camera to my dash, hahaha, i will figure out something, i sent my good laptop to my wife to use, anyways, i should be installing everything on tues or wed... i have the flywheel, clutch, new flywheel bolts right now. today i should have the clutch line, clutch fluid, and redline gear oil today... is there anything i am missing that anyone can think of?... i am impressed how well the oem clutch held up, however. i have 48.000 on the clock, 18,000 of those supercharged, and it is just now starting to give me problems, not bad enough to affect everyday driving, just enough to annoy me when merging onto the freeway... anyways, will definitely post pics and updates as i get them...

you got all you need it sounds like (as long as the clutch came with an alignment tool).. I use redline in the tranny,
Motul RBF600 in the lines.. the factory says to replace the flywheel bolts everytime, so seeing as how you got those..
your set!! Good Luck!!

I zip tied a digi cam to my rear view mirror once.. lol it worked!

The Spec Stage 2 clutch is VERY nice i love it and its very streetable, wont kill your knee. The clutch line is also a good investment and helps keep everything constant.

so far it feels great, the car is a lot "perkier" in 1st and 2nd, it feels good... i havent had any problems launching from a stop, i just drive like normal, slip the clutch and take it easy, no problems. i have only stalled once and that was in 2nd easing myself over some large speed bumps, i just wasn't paying attention. the clutch feels good too, i should have installed it when i first got it. i will post up install pics later today. i will make a video after i have gotten the clutch broken in... so far so good, now i just have to try to get that line installed, the hardline does not want to loosen itself from the soft line, i am about to give up... oh, i did embarrass a 3rd gen eclipse last night, it was funny...

so i take it you did the job yourself what did you use to pull out the transaxle and hold up the engine while you took the mounts out. i'm sure the right tools help in the issue thats its not an easy job. did you have air tools or do it all by hand? i had the experiance doing all this in class with a lift so i know the joy of taking out a transaxle. i'm getting ready to do mine this summer as well i just want to make sure i have the right tools to do the job and make it easier for me.
