Default Which intake is CARB legal for 06 xB in California?

I thought the AEM was making one, but then now I notice that it is the same part number for the 04, 05 and 06 models.

Which intake is CARB legal? I don't want to hassle and replace the intake when we have to get the vehicle inspected.

Which exhaust should I get in terms of performance? I would rather it not be too loud, I want a deep tone, no rice rocket rattle cans.

Additionally, those DC Headers are the expensive to get installed? And what kind of hp boost would I get, 2-5hp?

I was looking at this one on ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DC-Sp...spagenameZWD1V

Is that a decent price? I have a 10% coupon on ebay.

^ not to be rude but no company has made a air filter with a a charcoal filter in it
and by CARB law u can not bypass the charcoal filter on a 06
and by removing it u bypass it
hence there are no CARB legal intakes for a 06

the exempt sticker u have for the older model xBs
but u can get by with it on an 06

my Fujita SRI didn't come with one and i am trying to find one (if there is one)
XD

Because TRD didn't include the 2006 xB in their testing of the TRD intake. It costs a lot of money to do the testing for CARB. Since 2006 was the last year of the original xB, they didn't want to spend the time and money testing it for that one year. The TRD intake is legal for the 04 and 05 though because the testing was done then.

They did the same thing to the 2007 tC. They tested the 2008 and it's supposedly CARB legal (but they still deny it even when it's in writing in the EO), but they skipped over adding the 2007 tC even though it is the same as the 2008 (include the same MAF sensor change in the engine and everything from the 05 & 06 models).

Search EO D-425-17

half way during the 06 xB life they added the steering wheel controls, u may of gotten a older model before they switch to the 06.5 xB
