Sounds great. Now go buy the header, you won't be sorry. I have has the strup on for a few months now, very happy with it.

 

They do sound good. I will have to second the now get there header.

Shop around, they go in the 250 range, depends the site.

 

Sounds nice and deep and not ricey like a lot or crappy import exhausts I hear. What'd you pay for it?

 

i've got the strup exhaust too and i love it. way better than the trd exhaust that i had on there.

 

Is it pretty loud when you are just driving down the interstate? Can you hear it much inide the cab?

 

I'd say the Strup is on the louder side, but this is comparing it to my magnaflow setup.

 

it is ridiculously loud on the highway at certain speeds but i think it comes with a silencer now, wish they had that available when i had mine, then i wouldnt have gotten rid of it.

 

So, what one do you recommend to buy if I don't want the annoying loud noise inside the cab?

 

not sure i have a trd exhaust now, i have an intake and headers even the trd gets a bit loud at some highway speeds.

if by annoying loud noise you mean the droning i think all the exhausts for the xb drone.

i dont miss the drone at all from the strup but sure do miss that gurgle and popping. it sounds great except at certain speeds it drones real bad, kind of like someone waving a vacuum cleaner over a coffee can back and forth.

 

i dont think its that bad, i drive on the turnpike to work everday (about 40miles to then another 40 back) and i barely notice the drone, its there but not that annoying, its up to personel preferrence i guess, but personally i get a grin every time i hear my strup setup

 

I love my strup. its just too bad that it melted my lip... lol. I used twist ties cause the hangers were all retarded. = / perfect fitment my ___. I'll prolly get headers later to compliment it. other than that the strup is rockin

 

yea i read about all of that, peoples strup being misaligned and all so i learned from all of other mistakes and test dove my car literally down the street, moved to the left sooo got some zip ties for a temp. fix till i get around to buying a clamp

 

good idea. the damage is already done so I'm going to wait until I get my new lip kit then take it to a muffler shop to bend the hangers so it fits perfectly. strups are freakin HOT haha

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I was all ina good friggen mood, jus cleaned my box and put in my tien s techs and coming out of work today i notice that some A**hole scratched my car!!!!!!!

 

the louder the better for me :-P had my strup V.2 for over 2 years now. better then the Blitz NuR spec i had. but like posted before it is on the loud side.

whenever i buy the header and see how much louder it is, i may cut out the resonator :-P
