I think that would all dependon what intake you have. I know in my eninge bay there is.

 

i just have a short ram intake, all i need is a few spare inches of hose to cut out to put the sensor in, and it looks like itll fit. how sturdy is this thing, is it gunna crack if im workin on somethin and accidently hit a wrench on it or something?

 

I can't see it cracking from that if it can handle going 3000 ft under the ocean.

 

I have it on my xB and it is wonderful! I drive all around the city of phoenix and we have some rough streets.

Really rough streets. It is worse than driving over a wash board. I put mine on almost a month ago and unless you hit it really hard and directly. I do not see you breaking this piece of Pirex. Yes it is glass, but it is Pirex. It takes a big blow to break it. I think it would be easier to break/puncture your stock hose before you damage this one.

You will love this mod. It is easy to install and it looks great.

My xB is lowered so it feels every bump. In my opinion, unless you hit it directly really hard, I do not think you will break it.

I think I won Best Scion at the Import Face Off here in the Dallas region because of this mod, cause I saw the judge look at it and he mouthed WTF to himself and had a big ol grin after he saw it. I had some stiff xB competion but most everyone around here was at SpookFest in Oklahoma that day. Oh yeah, it is more heavy duty than the hose. I also drove to New Mexico.
