Default LIGHTWEIGHT PULLEYS FOR WATER PUMP?

Hey all, i have seen these for numerous vehicles that are said to work with the same type of reasoning as the crank pulley, freeing up engine power. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, could there be a pulley set that would fit on the Xb. I dont know sh%@ about this subject, if i am way off base, then let me know, thanx.

Thats true, but u know that on this lil car, every little bit helps. If u can get a little bit of power out of numerous modifications, in the end they make a difference, granted not a big one, but a positive difference nonethless.

....furthermore, the price on these for other cars were between $100-$125, so, thats not all that much, i have no clue how hard it would be to get these installed though.

100-125 adds up after all the little mods that cost the same get added as well.

BUMP

Anyone who knows of the internals of this VVT-I? Is this even possible let alone available?

As far as the price issue, i am fortunate enough not to have financial worries, i bought this car based solely on the amount of modifications that can be done to it and how unique one can make it. Making something out of nothing is what this car means to me. It is much more satisfying modifying a car that is as slow as this one to run low 15's (without nitrous) than it is to just go out and buy a car that runs fast times, thats no fun. You have to admit, other than the speed, this car is THE funnest car out there to mod, there is no other car that has as many mod otptions as this one.

lol i'm running 15.6 now. so not bad for all boring bolt on's.

150 isn't a price issue as much as it could just be a total waste.

what internals of this motor would you like to know about ?

I have an auto. An auto at low/mid 15's is impressive without loaded engine. That would be like you running mid/low 14's with the manual.

waterpump runs on the rear side of the alternator belt, and theres deffinately no point replacing it, doing so and your just clutching at straws mate
