Magnetizing the fuel line???????

i know that there are magnetic oil plugs that collect the metal shavings in your oil so a magnetic field around your fuel line might pick up any metalic debris in your fuel. technically that would help prevent any damage, but i dont think theres any way anything would get past your fuel filter. even if your ex-girlfriend put sugar in your tank.

thats wierd, why does the magnets on one of the links have a CARB number? Would smog be affected by them?

the epa has done testing on some of them and found some of them to actually do something...go check the epa website and search for fuel saver
here testing done in the 70 and 80's...the ideas for these devices is old

I found two EPA studies through that link of fuel magnetizing. both concluding it will do nothing for fuel economy or emissions.

which, is good enough for a CARB number. if it doesnt hurt emissions, its ok

This supposed "Fuel Gain" gimmick has been around for a long time. Every so often, it reappears again. Trust me on this one! IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!! I've also been around for longer than I'd like to admit and have seen too many "miracle add ons"!
