Default Making custom xB exhaust. . . need some help/info

A little information to begin with. I am going to make a custom exhaust. I work at a shop where I can get most of the work done. I have decided to go with a DNX muffler, something a little different then most. I have the help of two master mechanics so as long as an idea isn't to out there I can get it done. I'm not making the exhaust system for extra horses or sound, it's something to do with my pops and it's something to make my xB a little more my own.

There are several details that I foresee causing me some problems. Also I would have pm'd a sponsor or talked with another shop, but I'd rather get some help from more then just shops. So here we go. . .

1.Anyone know of a shop in the Washington DC area with a mandrel pipe bending machine?
2. Where I might be able to get a stainless steel pipe and resonator for the xB.
3. Any suggestions/comment are welcomed.

Thanks in advance for any help/info/suggestions.

mandrel piping will be a complete waste of money man just get 2 inch . stainless piping is available at any muffler wherehouse for like 30 or 40 per 10 foot stick. resonators are there too for like 50 for a stainless one.

oh i know. but it's insanely expensive work and not worth the very minuscule power gain.

Default no problems with steel piping. . .

I meant mandrel bent. I can get steel pipe, just not sure about stainless. I figure if I am going to do this I should do it with stainless. I can pretty much get any pipe Walker makes. Anyone know if Walker makes stainless.

I forgot to ask if anyone knows the size of the OE pipe. I'd rather not have to cut the pipe to find out.

I can get crush bending done from a guy I know. I guess it wouldn't make too much of a difference whether it was crush bent or mandrel bent, considering the small engine size. I guess. . .

It is 2" upto the resonator and 1.75 after.

Magnaflow makes a nice stainless resonator.
