That's pretty much ebay price for a new one because this one has never been installed/used. I did lay the strut mounting bracket in place, but realized the issue that I mentioned in my previous post about not being able to use it with the strut bar and picked it right back up and layed it back in the box that it came in.




I don't know who this seller is, but you might want to keep an eye on this auction if you want one cheaper. The auction does state that it's used though.

can i get an email of the instructions too? i bought the damper from mmw but all i got was a page of what im suppose to have. i wanted to get an email too can you guys send me one? i just need to know how to adjust it.

 

Wow, packaging must not be monitored at MMW if now 2 boxes didn't have instructions.

 

Oh let me clear this before your guys mistaken it wasn't in a box i don't know if it was suppose to be but it was in a bag placed in a box sent out with and s-pipe. They did to save on shipping i guess.

 

The ETD should have come in a seperate, sealed, package within the bigger box with the instructions within the sealed smaller box .....different business practices.

 

I've just got the instructions for the xA/xB. If you're needing them for the tC, then hopefully someone else will be able to help ya out.

thanks i got it. now i just don't know how to verify that its only correctly and adjusted right. sounds fine but the sound can get a bit annoying.

 

Very, very soon...I just got done installing a finished bracket and ETD kit on an xB (ScionLife SN: Frosty335), I need to find an xA local to us so I can confirm fitment (don't see why there would be any issue, but better to check in house than sell an ill fitting part). Also, I am writing up the instruction today...being the customer service rep and the guy who installs the physical parts on the car I will be able to handle any fitment/instruction issues that may arise with our (Ingalls Engineering) parts.

 

can you install an engine damper on an xb that already has the front strut tower bar?

 

depends on which strut bar, it should fit

The studs on top of the struts were not long enough on my xA to have the MMW engine damper and the DC Sports Carbon Steel strut bar both on.


xB may be different?....me knoeth not.
