would the $2500 kit have an intake plenum/filter that would alleviate Sciontuner's concerns?
yes a K/N intake or a plenum would be considered, i am only running the ITB open for show purposes

u prolly can, but we can not guarantee the kit, the kit will be sold as a complete item, but certain arrangements may be made when the time comes

thanx everyone

I'd be very interested...

But you'd have to provide some refinement and specs on the IRTB setup with the stock MAF

...and / or with a piggyback as the base kit.

HP and TQ curves (a dyno sheet) would go a long way on what you think this could provide.

An IRTB kit that provided great response would really make these cars come alive.
Any tuning / specs ready?

RTon20s
And since you are running a stand alone that means you lost the traction control correct?
well i dont think the xa has traction control nor does it have stability control but i can can do a burn out with my cousin's rs2 xa with no problem unlike my xb where i have to turn off da traction control to even attempt a burnout........and da xa doesnt beep when it starts loosing traction and spins out and stuff unlike da xb.........i know this cuzz i have experimented with both cars when it comes too burnouts and e-brake U-turns and e-brake sliding......... ahhh da fun times......i think ima throw my steelies back on and go have some fun later in a vacant parking lot somewhere

Question: will ITB's screw with the emissions of the car?

When you run ITB's you take of everything emmission wise.

Oh crap. That sucks! Lol. Because over here in AZ, as far as i know, theres no "paying off" the emissions people. You can have a different motor in your car (SR20s and RB20/25s have passed over here in 240s) and not have a problem, the only thing is you DO have to be running proper emissions.

Any idea of what would be included in a kit?

If it was $2500 for a complete bolt on kit, I think that would be a pretty good deal.

Would going FI with ITB's really be that effective? It seems like it would defeat the purpose of having them if you go FI. I mean, i'm sure it wouldnt hurt anything. Just curious.

Looks awesome though.

funny thing is the jdm sr20det and all of the rb motors never came with egr valves let alone a full emissions system.

the sr20 u can use the non turbo usdm motor emissions stuff but the rb never had any emissions stuff at all...........
