Guys I need help. I need to find a used auto trans for a 2006 Xb. Someone hit my xb and broke the trans case where it mounts to the drivers mount. The bare case from the dealer is about $1200.

Where are you guys going for used parts? Any good junk yards for Scions that you guys know of? I am in So Cal.

I figure if anyone knows they will be on this site. Thanks in advance

There are about 30 wrecking yards in Otay Mesa (805 south of Chula Vista/San Diego). On your way down there is a couple at 76 and interstate 5 about a mile east.

Have you looked into having the case repaired? Aluminum can be welded.

Case is unrepairable. Where the mount bolts to the case is essentially shattered into about 10 little pieces. Any names of junkyards in Otay Mesa? Phone #'s would be great.

It'll have to wait until I get back to work on Monday and look in the yellow pages. I live in the next county north of San Diego. I'll get names and numbers.

Thanks for your help. I was able to locate one through a friend of a friend kinda thing. His buddy owns a chevy junkyard and used a locater service to find me one. $400 so the price was great as well.
