Default need help please.......

ok i have been having crazy problems with my xa now i just found out from toyota that i have a blown head gasket........so dont really have the money to pay them so im ganna try and do it myself. Im good with motors so im thinking it might not be that hard. Has anyone else had to do this ? How hard is it ? any tips?

I have done hundreds of them but haven't done a scion yet it's not that hard at alll.... but make sure you get the head resurfaced... it's cheap and it ensures a better seal... and slightly bump the compression... other than that make sure it's back timed correctly...

another thing I also usually do is buy a can of coppercoat and spray both sides of the gasket and let it get tacky before I install and it help it seal and ensure that it seals all of the water jackets well... I have ran over 250hp worth of nitrous on a 4-cylinder neon with stock MLS headgaskets that were coppercoated with no failures...
