Default New Pistons & Short Throw For The xA/xB

Found These Beautys Searching Around.....Frist Off The Pistons Are Pretty Sweet Made By CP Pistons Marketed As Race Enginering XT/XTP Pistons They Are Turbo Pistons & Come In 75 & 75.5 Bore Diamiters But Retain The Stock Compression Ratio.....Not To Bad In My Opinion as Far As Cost Goes Just Need To Shot Peen The Rods And You Have Your Self A Nice Build For Boost/Spray Heres The Link To The 75mm Pistons: http://www.raceeng.com/pc-7941-55-to...851-turb0.aspx

And The 75.5mm: http://www.raceeng.com/pc-7942-55-to...851-turb0.aspx

Next Up Is A Very Nice Looking Short Shifter Made By Craven Speed......Its Throw Adjustable But To The Extream....From My Understanding You Can Adjust This Thing Basically In The Time Of Sitting Thru A Red Light While Actually Sitting At A Red Light.......Meaning No Tools Needed To Adjust Height/Throw.....And Once Again I Think The Price Is Decent Shifter Link: http://www.cravenspeed.com/index.php?productID=23

Hope These Finds Helps Somebody Out There In The Pursuit Of Making Our Cars Just That Much More Fun.....Good Night And Good Luck!

as to my knowledge the stock compression ratio is at a 10.5:1 not 8.5

It's good to see what appears to be a readily available aftermarket piston for the 1NZFE. But like Metal said, the stock compression ratio is 10.5:1, not 8.5:1. These pistons are definitely meant for forced induction.

Now that we see people manufacturing the pistons, we might want to put pressure on them to build 11:1 or greater compression pistons for n/a builds. The more people we have building similar products the better it will be. More sources, means less exclusive, means more reasonable pricing.

These are the same quality pistons that we offer in our staged blocks and turbo applications. These come in 11.1 compression and offer the guy looking for the all motor setup a edge above the competition.

What I don't understand is why anyone would pay ZPI $595 for a set of pistons? It appears that 8.5:1 pistons are now available for under $500. And I know that you can have custom pistons built to your spec and shipped for less than what ZPI is asking.

And you run no more risk going with someone else's pistons. As far as I know ZPI has yet to actually install a set of their pistons in a car. (High or low compression.) Whats more, I can't even say for sure of they even actually have the pistons available.
