Default Nice throttle body spacer on ebay

I thought I would post this for anyone interested.

I have this one in blue and I like DesignedChaos stuff.

I am a bargain hunter and I figured I would let everyone know about this.

I'd like to see the dyno numbers proving the information. Also, I've heard there are some knockoffs running around on teh-bay. Need more pictures of both front and back to see proof of the validity of this product.

Ya know, I am not even sure why I post anymore.

I am just showing you friggin negative people a deal I saw on ebay.

Did not ask for your opinion. I am not the only one that has a TBS.

This ebay site is a Chaos closeout store. Knock-off? Hardly.

They were the first people to come out with it for the xB and it was quite a bit more money.

I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. There is a good point made about having dyno numbers. Without some sort of proof then you are just spending money on something that is adding weight to you car slowing it down, and you are going by the seat of your paints to see if it mades a difference. And you can add one more item to your list of mods. It is great if just having it makes you happy, no one can take that away from you. But if you are really trying to do it for a reason then get some numbers.

After much further research (and annoyance for reasons listed above) the knockoffs are OBX due to the missing mounting guides and lack of helix throat cuts. The real deal is made by Designed Chaos to which I have yet to find any web site for, let alone any proven dyno numbers. Fancy mod for a growing list? that's about all I can see so far.

If someone can find the dyno numbers, could you please post them? Otherwise, the idea of a TBS is not much more than a pipe dream.

Now for my opinion on the matter of this thread with a request for threadlock (two reasons). Emotes and opinions do not travel at all over black & white. You can't read more into the post than what was written. My second reason for requesting the lock; the auction is done, over, and gone... the idea of the original post was to point out the availability for a low price.

Last part... OakT, sorry if my post came across snide or offensive.

This has been hashed out before when I first found the Design Chaos TBS, cant find the thread on here, so much was lost/tossed last forum upgrade. This is about the same info on the other forum.
It has proven dyno power on another vehicle just never ended up being tested for ours.
I like his design over the others that have came since. In the end I have had/sold 6 diff ones on 3 diff boxes all with diff I/H/E set ups all seemed to improve response in the throttle, weather or not added horsepower who knows. I like what I spent My $$ on and its still installed after 4 years.

Ah... thanks for the major clarification there. Reading further to see if I should look into this.
