No codes- What is the truth? Yes, Ive searched the forums.
I have been lurking here for years and want to know what is up with my 05 Xb.
I get the CE , VSC and Trac Off lights. If goes on and off all by itself, usually at 3/4 and 1/4 of a tank of fuel. I own a scanner, there is no code or any imminant code on the OBDll EVER. The gas cap is FINE!
The problem is in SE-PA our emissions tests use the OBDll port for the tests. You can't just reset the ECM and take the test. It needs so many clean run cycles to even get the okay to take the test.
The question is..is there a TSB, emissions warranty, or recall from Toyota for this phantom triggering? I am out of warranty.
The car is 100% stock, and has acted like this I bought it used...only 9k on the clock...56k now.
