NOS a possibility?
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
oh yeah, how are you going to fit an entire company in your car??????
unless you meant N2O, and have been easily led by movies to believe that this chemical can warp time and space at the touch of a button
DANGER TO MANIFOLD!!!!

Nitrous for automotive use is tainted with Sulpher Dioxide to prevent "huffing"
USP is only available to medical industry, that's the good stuff if you remember getting dental work as a kid
and showpaojoe, what info???
these cars are fairly self-explanatory, if not the ENTIRE WORLD is at our fingertips(internet)
what mysterious secrets do/did you know that you are not sharing..........oh yeah, no one cares...............

35 shot of n20 and we all know nos is a division of holley but it is also a common name for nitrous so don't jump someone just cuz they called it that. You can however jump someone if they post in the wrong forum. lol.
Do you even know who I am? Probably not which means you know NOTHING about this site.
And I'm on my 5th engine...3 of which resulted from nitrous so I know a LITTLE more than you do on this particular subject dealing with this car.
Have fun squirming ..!..

and i have no clue as to the why's and wherefore's of nitrous oxide
i have been a professional mechanic for 5 years and a Toyota nut for as long as i could drive(about 10 years)
i have owned many many vehicles, some with power adders. I succesfully campaigned a 98 Toyota Tacoma 2.4L auto in drag racing over 3 years. Won many bracket races and made that pickup go faster than intended by god. All WITHOUT a blown engine. Nitrous is not for the weak. These engine have not proven themselves for their durability under stress. Boost for these cars is limited to 3-5 psi for reliability. That is close to the "35 shot" that was mentioned earlier.
Destroying engines does not mean you know more than I do, it just means you are more careless. And if you are on your 5th motor, i don't think I would follow your advice as it does not seem to be working for you
please stick to your sig "I am NO LONGER helping anyone on this site. You can all thank some moderators for ruining your chance at a GREAT deal of Scion info. "

a 50 shot wet is the max u want to run consistently. i know a few that have done this and their motors are still running strong. go with a 75 and it may last like 20lbs maybe a little bit more before your engine blows. 100 and the motor blows on the first try.
take it from me, i went with the 75 and ran a 16.0 my first time at the track, stick with a 50.

i know this is in the wrong forum but what about something like this for my tc?

seeing as this has become a flame war anyone know a book or site where i can read up. I dont wanna blow one engine let alone 5 like the one bigshot know all did. And for the record im not a kid who thinks movies = reality, i just wanna get the most out of my car
hey, just take my advice on this. i ran a 75 shot and it ran fine for over a month. i ran almost 20lbs on it until one day i had a few passengers in the ride and decided i wanted a little boost up a hill. thats when the motor started running funny. ive yet to bring it in to warranty it to see what happened. i need a fuel rail since there is a hole in mine where i tapped for fuel. go with a 50 shot wet. that will last a long time. pm money about his setup.
all flaming aside
i would not recommend any nitrous use on the 1.5L, just my personal opinion
for longevity and warranties sake, and I have a real race car so I am biased
the 2.4L from the tC could probably handle 50-75
not every day mind you, and i would do it on a dyno with a GOOD wideband O2 to make sure the cars fuel system can handle it
a wet shot only works if you have enough fuel to begin with, consider a bigger pump for safety's sake and run colder plugs, stay away from Iridium plugs....they hate Nitrous
everyone can do whatever they want with their car, i work at a dealer and know that i will soon see some kid (or adult) that has been misled and made a $10,000 mistake and try to get it covered under warranty
I am not the Toyota Police, I don't even work for Toyota (other car make dealer) i just hate to see people believe EVERYTHING they read on the internet
this post included...........

running nitrous on any car means ____ compared to running it on a scion and you don't know the engines capabilities.
try running a 50, then a 75, then 100 (which i have done)...why? because I want to know how far I can go in stages.
The engines cost $250...the price of a fukin intake...why are people so cheap.
And you think I'm careless? Naw...I'm just being a man and not being a cheap ___ _____ when it comes to speed.
It takes money to go fast and I've got lots of it

unfortunatley for us
we bought a Scion becasue we want to keep our money and have a unique car
i guarantee 90% of the people on this site don't want to replace their engines once, let alone 5 times
regardless of $$$ blowing up engines is just plain careless
good monitoring and a chassis dyno makes you go fast and SAFE
by the way, how fast was your box in the 1/4mile, since that is the only place N20 matters.......????

true...but there has to be someone to push the car to its limits so the rest of us dont mess up. ill put myself out there also as one to have pushed the car close to its max. i ran a 75 shot, and my motor is messed up now. would u rather blow your own motor, give us a break, we tried it and now there is info out for the rest to benefit one. ill admit to the mistake of not carefully tuning it though.
