Does anyone know a place that sells a full Nitrous kit for the xB. Wet or Dry?

There is a kid named Viet on scionnoics.com, a Virginia based forum. He has a nitros set up with a supercharger on his box. His forum name is vietbox . He is a really nice guy and I'm sure that he could answer any questions that you have.
Thanks for the endorsement, 87...
Yes, we do have nitrous kits...our Ny-Trex wet and dry systems are assembled specifically for the xB or tC with all the parts needed for a clean and complete install. No need for any additional trips to the speed shop.
Every last detail is covered right down to a drill bit and tap for the nozzle! Every system comes with a high flow bottle valve (optional on most other kits), heavy duty solenoids with no hassle lifetime replacement warranty, and excellent installation instructions.
Since a lot of fellas have started to get into Nitrous we will be adding a specific section to the SuperFa website just for spray including plug recommendations and tech!!! Of course I'm always available on my site or over the phone for any questions you may have.
Every system is assembled right here in Orlando and ALWAYS in stock ready to ship. They cost a little more than some other kits, but you get what you pay for.
Good luck with whatever you decide to get...it'll be a blast!

Chris is new to the whole nitrous thing, so we started him out small...he's already cryin for a 35! One good thing about these small cars is how long the bottle lasts...he got a good 15-20 runs mixing it up at the local spot on a bottle we used for pressure testing and solenoid checks!!! He still had enough the next day to bust on a riced out Civic on the way home from my place and take a few fellas for test rides. My car would get maybe 5 runs in
The car mentioned above has a dry system...just a basic Ny-Trex entry level kit. The dry only needs one hole drilled into your intake ducting usually 6-10" away from the MAF.
Quick explanation of wet and dry:
Dry sprays only nitrous through the MAF sensor which then reads the incresed oxygen molecules and adds more fuel through the stock fuel system. Benifits are that they are cheap, and easy to install and remove. Downside is that you can only spray as much nitrous as the fuel system can handle. In the case of an xB I'd say your car could happily handle a 35 shot without problems, though we do have a few fellas here locally spraying 50 shots and they are fine...I just like to be extra careful
Wet sprays both nitrous and fuel together just before the the throttle body. This bypasses the MAF and you control the fuel mixture. Benifits are tunibility (is that a word?), and the ability to surpass the limits of the stock fuel system for more power. Downsides are expence, harder install because you have to remove the fuel rail (on Scions) and drill/tap it, harder to remove, and the fact that you are introducing fuel OUTSIDE the combustion chamber...this can lead to puddling and explosion.
My personal opinion is that on a tC the wet system is the way to go...they are a little more stout than the xB and are more suited to handling higher power levels. On the xB I'd just stick to dry...it's not like many would spray a 50 shot or higher on an xB as I believe it'd be too much wear and tear...the stock fuel system is perfectly capable of handling a 20-35hp increase, so just throw a dry kit in and have fun. Good luck with whatever way you go, and no matter what brand you decide to get feel free to get ahold of me anytime if you have questions.

There is a sponsored sale going with with StripperMotorsports right now here on Scion Life. I don't have either the wet or dry system, but I have bought several items from them and they are excellent to deal with. They have both wet and dry currently. Give them a shot and see what you think.
ok, i usually dont like the idea of nos, but it does sound enticing right now lol.
so my question is, what kind of wear and tear does a dry shot of nos do to our little xb engines lol. and what do you guys mean by passes from a bottle, can you only run it for a few seconds at a time or does it damage things if you run any longer than that? i know very little of the workings of nos.
It will speed up the wear on piston rings and valve seals. Passes on the bottle are 1/4 mile passes. You should never run more than 15 seconds or so. You run the risk of freezing your solenoid, and most solenoids are not rated for continuous use, either, so short blasts are all they can handle safely. Always buy a premium kit with HD solenoids!
I personally sprayed a Mustang 5.0 from 10k miles to 140k miles with no drop in performance all the way through it's life. Sold the car and the guy who bought it ran it for a couple thousand miles as it was til he wanted more and leaned it out and popped the motor. This was a 95 with the weaker 5.0 hyper piston motor. If he woulda done it right it would have gone on forever, but that's the problem with nitrous...people get greedy and go too far. That car died on a 250hp shot.
Hope that helps...

yeah that helps abunch thanks alot. when i looked on the site, it had 2 nos kits but it said they were both wet shot systems. what about the dry shot system for the xb you guys are talkin about in here? sorry to sound like a noob, i just don't know much about this sorta stuff.
I know the dry kit is not on the site...we're going through some transitions right now and haven't worked it out yet, but if you like you can PM me on the superfa site. I can get you hooked up with a Dry-Trex plus purge.
This kit is a complete kit and comes with everything you need. You can also PM me any other questions you may have...I like talking about about going fast no matter what!
