Default OBX Racing ( who are they )

I have a hard time finding parts for my little 03 Echo. But I found this company called " OBX Racing " and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of them. I'm looking for an intake and a full exhaust system.

If anyone has had any dealings w/ these guys I would appreciate some feedback before I go and spend alot of cash.

Thanks guys

One more thing I forgot... No, I'm not trying to advertise for these guys either. But here's their site. Thanks again

a horrible cheap parts company.

most of their parts are copies of another brands part. normally their work is inferior in quality and craftsmanship.

those are the aftermarket stuff the dealer sells. I wouldn't buy it, your better off making your own stuff out of wood, it would probably last longer too. lol.

Their parts are inferior in quality and craftsmanship, but do function. If thats all you can find for your car, go ahead and buy it (so darn cheap, anyways...buy 2 of everything). Do expect anything stainless from them to rust, and their intakes are hit or miss for fitment, but all can be mangled into place. Its up to you, but like i said if its all you have access to, then go for it. But, I would really try to search for other sources, double check... OBX=last option

I have the same 1.5 ltr. engine as in your Scions' xA and xB. I wonder if parts for your Scions would fit my Echo. The Yaris and Vits ( also Vits RSTurbo ) use our power plant as well. Vits RS has a factory turbo that is only available in Japan. I would kill for this part.

What parts to you guys stand by? I am looking @ some DC headers and hoping like hell that they fit my car. The rest shouldn't be too hard since I have a friend that custom fabricates exhaust. I think a short ram intake would do nicely as well.

My questions have probably been asked a million times on these forums but this time it's for an 03 Echo lol. Interesting twist?

Thanks

DC Sports/ AEM is a reputable company and about all of their products are CARB legal if that's an issue for you. I run the AEM intake and exhaust and im a happy customer.

I am very interested in CARB legal actually. A tasteful and legal approach to upgrading my car is what I'm after. I know DC/AEM are good companies. I'm wondering if the header that is made for the xA/xB will fit my 03 Echo. I guess I'll have to call the company and ask.

Unless you own an Echo and are saying you have put them on and the parts fit.

It appears that OBX Racing to aftermarket performance is like Roadgear,Optimus,Legacy to car audio.

So, are you saying these parts fit my 03 Echo? ( AEM intake/exhaust )

Their parts are very inexpensive. Borderline cheap, imho. How long have you run these parts? and are they CARB legal?

Not trying to pick a fight. I just want to make an informed purchase.

call them up if you can, essentially it's the same motor and the only issue I can see is if there's a space difference.

iv had the header for 5000 + miles still looks the same performs the same and never had a cell come on. may be cheap but the part is very well constructed. why pay the high price of brand name cause your only paying for the name. when you can spend little less for something that is just as good or better.

agreed! i got the same stuff, (OBX) looking to run it now! i was hesitant after i purchased looking at all the reputable brands that i know are prob AMAZING! but i think in some cases you pay for what you get and in other cases your getting the same thing for a cheaper price just not getting the "name" some parts are def a name brand thing, if its 100% race id say go out and pay the extra $ for perhaps a better part? but in this case minus a weld or 2 im sure its 100% same thing, and hell if it breaks ill learned my lesson, if not i guess i saved some $$$

thanks all hey anyone know the Inlet for the S-pipe??

is it 2.25 or 2.5 ? thanks!
