I would like to know what is everyones thoughts on the Alpha Werks 4-1 Headers for the xB..........Does Anyone have one? Hows it feel? DYNO numbers?

 

Hi, I got one installed today, not too bad to put that in. As far as performance goes, it seems to pick up a little faster, the tone was lowered compared to stock, of corse I had K&N CAI and stock DC sport muffler. I like it.

 

where did you get it at? how much? was the install pretty easy?

 

I was going to go with the alphawerks but i talked to a guy who said it want really bolt on and he had noticed that where the welds were there were openings. Just wanted to give my opinion. I went with the dc 4-1 headers but haven't got them installed yet. good luck with yours.

 

hopefully the one he noticed was just that one or else i would have to learn how to weild in 30min and fix it myself haha

 

I got mine from ebay, $36 + $30 shipping. Welding was fine, no leak so far, it looks exactly like Strup one and it has an Alphawerks patch on it.

 

Install was easy, just follow the tech section about the DC Sport header for XB

 

thats kewl hopefully i will be getting one soon and after i put it on i hope its not too loud or else i will have to ride around with my silencer because my exhuast is already loud as it is and i hope it doesnt change the tone of my exhaust cuzz i luv how it sounds now

 

Has anyone even looked at the MMW header for the XB?

i would have to agree with YellowRay......IMO i believe that most ppl well ppl with a budget preffer to buy something good but inexpensive but thats my Opinion
