Its a Toyota turbo Starlet motor. I forgot the engine code.

 

3FETE I think. It's about 133 hp but much more mod-friendly than the 1NZ

 

3efte is correct similar to the usdm 5efe from paseo's .

they have right around 130-136 hp stock

they can be easily modded. the bottom end can take 20psi. maybe not daily but yes it can take that much. only prob is.... the motor is ancient.

and if you live in a place where cops and or smog people care you will be buttraped.

 

that is the major problem
Toyota does not make any newer very small high performance engines
we are forced to go back in time
and this is highly illegal for our smogged comrades

 

Luckily I live in a state that doesn't do vehicle inspections.
