Pics Please: xA RS with TRD springs
Hey all, I'm trying to decide on springs. Does anybody have pics of their xA RS 1.0's dropped on different types of springs??? I just don't think the TRD's are going to be enough of a drop with the 17's. Can anyone prove me wrong? I'd love to see pics of other xA's on 17's with a drop too. Please post pics, and stats to help me decide....
Thanks,
...Jessica~

It depends on your taste, for me though, the TRD's don't offer a good enough drop to compliment 17in wheels. The huge gap is still there.
The Tiens S-techs offer a 1.6 to 1.7 drop which is pretty good and close in on that gap a bit more. It also seems to be a pretty popular application for most xA tuners.
Me? I went with the Tanabe DF210's ^^ Dropped it a clean 2.25in front and back. The drop looks great with my ADR M-Sport rims since the gap is barely noticible. Just need some 10mm spacers for it to flush nicely with the fenders :D

not much difference with the TRD's... but I'm a big fan of TRD and if you don't want to go too far down then TRD is awesome.... I've got a set of Tein S-Techs waiting to be put on in the spring (waiting for old man winter to die!) haha

Here's a pic of my car stock the day I got it. Not the same angle but you can see the difference.

yeah definitely, i wasnt saying that the TRDs are bad or anything, I have done many TRD things to my RS xA, but I want a lower drop so I got the s-techs, nothing wrong with TRD though TRD - Total Road Domination :-)

I just got some TRD 18's from tbblizzard, and was wondering whether or not the TRD's would be a good enough drop to decrease the gap that I now have. Looks pretty funny with stock springs. Anyone have any input to this?
Also, is there any truth to the TRD springs actually dropping the car 1.5", as oppossed to the 1" they are supposed to drop the car?

Thanks dante_b!
What about Tein springs that lower the car 1.7"? Would these cause any problmes with 18" TRD's? These are the tires I have right now: Pirrelli Neros 215/35ZR 18.
Sorry about asking so many questions, I just don't want to mess up my car. I know you all understand.

Sweet!
Tein S it is! Thanks again dante_b. I don't know what I would do without you guys!
Funny thing is I wouldn't even have thought of doing anything like this until I got on these message boards. All of a sudden I have a 6 CD changer, silverstars, TRD rims, and lowering springs. There goes my money.
