ever sence i installer my new flow through magnaflow muffler by precision muffler i have this black film - sut - carbon, on my rear bumper all around the exhaust cut out of my pw xb. is it running to lean or rich because of the cai and exhaust? the tip is pretty flush maybe i can move it out a few inches out or something. anyone else have this problem?

that just means your running rich...

i haven't done that since my last car i had it was awesome that it left two black carbon marks on the driveway when i let it warm up >

is there any way to prevent it?
the next thing i'm getting for my xb is an exhaust. but i dont want to have it belching out black smoke like all the civics and jettas around here.

i think just as long as you do a cat back you should be fine, i don't think you should mess with the O2 sensors

I have over 30,000 miles on my precision muffler and cai and no problems..no black film
