Default Put my JDM bB manifold on, along with reinstalling the rest of my goodies

I've been flip flopping back & forth on keeping the box...well the other day the ACT clutch in my tercel decided to die & i realized I wanted one NICE car to have & ONE toy...i'm keeping my van (acutally looking for a better chassis) & getting rid of the Tercel...so I'm keeping the Scion

Anyways, quite a while back I had bought a JDM bB manifold cuz of its full length runners, & i finally installed it saturday afternoon along with the stainless exhaust & intake i made at my previous job.

On to the pics;

stock USDM left, JDM/custom right.

Now i have an intresting intake roar over 4800rpm...which i contribute to the tuning in the JDM manifold creating a sonic tuning event helping charge more air into the cylinders during valve overlap...it wasn't there before when all this stuff was on with the stock USDM manifold way back. the box feels reeaaly good too when i romp on it.

looks like both exhausts are angled the same way, i thought the BB exhaust came out of the left side rear lip?

the only bB part is the manifold...bolted straight in...just a little hard to wiggle between the valve cover & the firewall when trying to put it in place

i cant think of anything other than a good CAI or short ram if you already have an exhaust set up(what is your set up btw). how loud you want it tho. i like a nice deep solid tone, but ive seen too many A and b's that just sound straight out ricey, cant stand it!

It's the header is the piece that makes the biggest difference to the change in the note and the overall tone.

actually...the factory cat & resonator do a major job in the sound quality...i used to run the same muffler on the stock mid section & it was clean sounding...then i made that 2" exhaust with a metallic high flow cat & a MK5 VW Rabbit resonator, & its a little raspy (more cold, less when warmed up)...but i kinda like it.

BTW my main muffler is a MK5 VW Golf resonator/muffler, i love these things, straight-thru with a open middle chamber & they are stainless. I have 3 or 4 more in my shed, haha

my exhaust volume is not much louder then stock on the inside (stock is suprisingly noticeable) I contribute that from using factory VW mufflers/resonators, proper sized tubing & having the tip extend out a little further then stock, so i get the flow from the straight-thru mufflers & slightly larger then stock tubing (stock is like 1.65") thats also mandrel-bent (stock is not) but nearly stock sound levels inside, outside has a "sporty" tone thats nots loud at all...about as loud as a stock mustang GT
