Default really annoying beeping?

okay, first measurable snowfall here in chicagoland... i find me an empty parking lot, and shut off traction control, as soon as i pull the e-brake, and get the car sideways, it brakes out of the NICE drift i was in, and starts with this really annoying high pitched beeping. what gives ?

That sir is the collision avoidance system. Turning off the trak control disables only the traction control not the collision avoidance part of the system:/

its a stability control system that monitors the cars direction, if it finds that the rear end is stepping out (oversteer) or that the front end is not turning fast enough (understeer) it uses the abs system to send up to i think 90% of braking power to one or more wheels to correct unstable cornering conditions such as drifting

if u dont like the system, dont buy a car after the 2009 model year, lol because the NHTSA is pushing to make all cars have VSC (vehicle stability control) standard on all cars after that since their research shows that it reduced single-car collisions by up to 35%
