Default Resonator?

I havent looked under the car, but does the xB have a Resonator?

If so does removing it make a better sound, and what does it take to remove it?

the xB does have a resinator but I don't recomend taking it off. The car gets very loud when you remove it.

you could take it off and put like a high flow Magnaflow resonator, Im sure that it will help with sound a bit and make it a lil less restrictive.

oh no I am not looking to spend much money on this truck, its just my daily commuter. I know it very cheap to remove the resonator for a little better sound, but since it sounds horrible I wont do it. I dont want to buy anything more for it than I already have into it (better shocks and tein h techs)...

Do not remove the OEM resonator, if you want a quiet exhaust, keep the OEM resonator.

Some shops will replace the OEM resonator w/a glasspack muffler and you'll get some much droning inside the cabin, you can't talk to the person next to you.

I have the Magnaflow resonator, and its bit louder, but not like some cars I've been in. Magnaflow has three different sizes for their resonators.

You can get a different sound by changing the axleback portion of your exhaust. The round, clylinder types, will give a somnewhat "honduh", raspy, "fart" can sound. I tend to stay w/ ovals.
