I wanna see what it looks like- all I can find is "stock" photos but none up close or any good. So if anyone has a pic of their box with a short aftermarket air intake that would be great!

that is a nice kit considering mine even being a short ram the intake is hiding behind the headlight lol a pain to clean the filter...of course not like that is done often but still

The benefit of a SRI is that it doubles as a cold air intake while this one just pulls air from the engine compartment.

 

yeah that blitz kit looks nice, the benefits of SRI and CAI on 108 hp don't mean ISH. I'm interested to know what the Blitz kit costs as I havent seen it for sale or anyone have it posted other than you..thx

 

The thing is that you will loose horse power when you pull some hot air, making it less than 108hp

 

how easy is it to interchange between the short ram/cai system?

 

 

I seriously doubt your going to lose HP with the amount of air coming in VS. the size of the engine I hardly doubt it, its not so much the temp as the pure amount of air coming in over stock on an application like the xB, or atleast I feel that way, on a much larger engine maybe, but xB I seriously doubt.

 

not too bad, take off the filter and the front bumper and attach the extension tube and filter and bolt it all back up, maybe a 30min thing.

Not to take away from C2 Auto, but I just ordered the Fujita from my wife from Ptuning.com. They were great to deal with.

It was shipped to my door for quite a bit less than the link listed above and made it here in six days (FedEx Ground). The box just arrived today, and it is in great shape. I can't even tell you how tempted I was to open it. But, since it is a Christmas gift, it won't be opened for another two weeks.

 

short rams are better cuz u can see the mod and u dont have to live in fear of drowning
