um yeah but they lose torque. trust me......

if you have too much backpressure by a smaller diamter piping, you are losing even more torque. Too little, you lose it, too much, you lose it.I wouldn't go near 2 1/2" or 3" unless you had Forced induction, (ie. supercharger or turbo.)
