Default Supercharge your car for $69.95?

I see this advertised on this site. Supercharge your XB for $69.95 and you will gain 35 hp and increase your gas mileage 31%. Has anybody done this? And if you have did it work. I am very skeptical about this.

I suspect it is THIS UNIT he's talking about.

NOT something I would put in my vehicle...

It's the one on the bottom of this website that advertises Increase Gas mileage. If you can't see it. Than look at www.turbonator.com I'm just curious about it because scionlife is advertising it.

(edited to reduce that incredibly long URL to something that will not cause a whole lot of horizontal scrolling. Tomas)

OK, Now I see what you're talking about. It's the "Turbinator" from late night TV fame...

What it is as a stationary set of stamped metal vanes that disrupt the airflow in your intake to get it kind of 'swirling' on it's way to the engine, and allegedly by doing this mixes it better with the gas...

While developers of race engines and intake systems for same go to sometimes extreme lengths to make the airflow as smooth and un-disturbed as possible on it's way into the engine, this device does exactly the opposite.

I'll let y'all make up your OWN minds as to who might be right there... :D

But wait, there's more! If you call within the next 10 minutes, we will include at no extra charge additional swirling vanes that can be used on your coffee maker. This will increase the coffee flavor by 31% and you coffee will be made 43% faster. But you must act now...operators are standing by..call 1-800-GIMME-A-BREAK!

instead of spending $70 on that thing you could cut up a soda can and jam it in your intake and use the $70 to buy that turbo sound thing that clips to your exhaust...

Just think if you ever caught a small animal in your intake it would be "Chopped, diced, sliced, minced and mixed all in one easy step. Now you may ask yourself "Ron Popiel do I really need the 'small critter mince maker 2000 in my car?' I say YES. Once you use the Mince maker 2000 you will notice a HUGE increase in horses consumed per mile.... and 'Chics dig it"

The only time I would put something like that in my car would be to keep would be intake valve thiefs out, that'll cut um up and they won't come back!

I should have added this to my list of 'Fantasy horse power makers" along with "The fuel atomizer" and oil catch can I know there was another one....

How do they offer a money back guarantee? That makes it temping to try it if I didn't have to pay shipping. I don't think it will work but if I could get my money back maybe I would try it.

Why is it advertised on this site if it doesn't work? I'm sure someone has tried it. But they are too afraid to admit it.

Accually it's on a crapload of sites. Remember X10 cameras? How about 900 Classmates.com ads. This one is teamed up with Google. It's spreading like cockroaches.! BTW the ADS at the bottom of this page are generated by google.
