Default For those of you with the DC Sports Header

So I just ordered a DC Sports header and am mildly concerned about the whole shifter cable meltdown business. I did get the ceramic one, and don't know if this will make a difference. If I need some sort of heat protection, would it be better to wrap that part of the header, or wrap the cables?

Any comments, suggestions, or personal experiences are much appreciated.

Have had the DC Ceramic forever now and never, never had a problem. No Wrap, No tying back with ty-wraps.

The ceramic coating does an excellent job.

I figured the ceramic would take care of it, but I wasn't sure.
I still might wrap though...

ive had my header for a couple of days now.
and i check every now and then on how the cables are holding up...
they seem fine and that everything seems normal...

so i think it should be fine, but i might be wrapping mine up
like what jct did/mentioned. just so i can sleep better
