Tranny fell out 3 times..

Tranny fell out 3 times..
Well really only one time but almost 3 other times!
Anyway it stressed out the crankshaft and now am told I need a new engine as well as tranny!
Get repairs or new car ?

Transmission don't just "fall out." In fact removing a transmission from almost any vehicle is quite a complicated task requiring the removal of many fasteners and related components. If somebody told you that your transmission fell out, they know nothing about vehicle design or maintenance. If your mechanic told you your transmission fell out, find another mechanic.
