TRD factory proformace exhaust

It really sounds good, not loud, but good. And as it gets a good "break in" it starts sounding better. Maybe with a better sound it does not mean better performance but it really sounds better as time goes by. My 2 cents.

greddy probably did the hp gains bouncing off the rev limiter..lol.
I think that's where most people are misled with the stated HP gains of specific products. Show me an actual dyno sheet showing the stock curve and the "after install" curve. Then I'll know where the power is (or isn't) at.
I've done the simple upgrades. K&N cai and TRD exhaust and didn't feel any pep increase at all.
BUT.... as far as sound goes... If you like rowing gears and letting the exhaust predict your next shift... You will love the TRD.. After it's broke in it does sound even better... A little back pressure popping can be heard from mine when I run it up around 5500 and lolly gag between shifts (letting it drop down below 2000) then giving it a little gas and dropping it in the next gear... Ahhh the joys of the standard transmission.

dynos are very inacurate to re-create the same conditions each time the best way to figure out true power is an engine dyno thats about it. its been said many a times you can do runs on a dyno and come out with inconsitent numbers that may be somewhat close but can also vary quite a bit.
